These Terms govern use of Inmate Connect (“Service”), including our website and WhatsApp business line +1 (347) 674-4228. By subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Inmate Connect is a communication platform that helps an inmate and their family exchange messages through the facility’s messaging system, SMS, WhatsApp, and email, and gives the inmate an AI assistant and web & case lookups. Your subscription pays for access to this platform and its features — not for the delivery of any specific message. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with the Federal Bureau of Prisons or with any facility messaging provider.
Paid plans and their prices are shown on the subscribe page before you pay. By subscribing you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method the plan amount shown at checkout, and to automatically renew and re-charge that same amount each billing period (every 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the plan you choose) until you cancel. The price and renewal interval are the ones displayed at checkout.
Charges appear on your card statement as INMATE CONNECT. You receive an emailed receipt for every charge, including each renewal.
You can cancel anytime. To cancel, contact support at the email or WhatsApp number below with your register number; we stop all future renewals and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.
All payments are non-refundable. Because the Service and its features are available to you immediately and for the full period once a payment is made, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or messages that a third party did not deliver. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund a charge already made. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support and we will investigate.
The Service is provided “as is.” Your subscription buys access to the platform, not guaranteed message delivery. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or timely delivery. Message delivery depends on third parties (the facility messaging system, carriers, and Meta/WhatsApp) and on facility rules, all outside our control, and is not a condition of your subscription fee.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inmate Connect is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
